Sammypalooza is now a yearly event that takes place on the campus of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Brought to SHSU by the Division of Student Services, it has become the premiere event for the campus and is a FREE and exclusive event for the students of SHSU. There is nothing like it around and is the must-see event of the school year.

TICKETS

Tickets are available at the Johnson Coliseum Office 235 Mon - Fri from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mar. 9-29 (no spring break). See chart below for Dates and Locations to purchase tickets. Two FREE Tickets per student will be available with a valid Bearkat One card. Public sales tickets will be available for $20. Contact the Johnson Coliseum for more information.

Who Can Attend?

All tickets for this year’s Sammypalooza will be distributed through the Johnson Coliseum and the RSC. The concert is open to all SHSU students, faculty, or staff with a valid SHSU ID. Additional tickets may be purchased for $20.

Can I bring my camera?

Professional lenses or disposable cameras are NOT PERMITED. Video cameras are NOT PERMITED. Cell phones are permitted. Most artists discourage the use of cell phone recording.

What items are not allowed at SammyPalooza?

No. However, concession stands will be open.

Will my personal belongings be checked?

All purses and hand-held clutch bags under 4.5” X 6.5” will be inspected prior to entry. All purses or bags larger than 4.5” X 6.5” will NOT be permitted. NO BACKPACKS OR UMBRELLAS. NO Professional photography devices

What time does the event end?

Approximately 11:00 p.m.

Will the show be family friendly?

We strongly encourage all attendees to be 18 years of age. This is a College Show!
